The annual or bi-annual cleaning and inspection of a boiler is a mandatory activity that must be carried out to ensure the optimal working of a boiler. There are a number of basic cleaning and inspection steps you must carry out just before any repair operation is carried out.

For instance, any small accumulation of soot around your boiler may reduce the efficiency of the boiler by more than 5%.
